What is it and Why should I participate?
We are called and gifted. Scripture tells us..."There is one body and one Spirit...but grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ's gift...to equip the holy ones for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:4, 7,12).
So then the question becomes - how do I know what gifts God has given me and how do I offer those gifts for the building up of Christ's Church?
Living Your Strengths (LYS) is a 4-week series in which participants discover their unique God-given gifts.
Commit yourself to the 4-week series and help Good Shepherd become ever more the Church of Jesus Christ through fully living out your God-given gifts in our Parish.
Background Information
After having introduced the Strengths Philosophy to over 3 million people of different audiences and having great success, the Gallup organization, five years ago published the first edition of Living Your Strengths; a paperback book to introduce the strengths philosophy to faith communities. This action struck a chord and they received an overwhelming demand for the book. In 2006 they published the first Catholic Edition and now have published a second Catholic Edition.
