Good Shepherd Outreach is partnering with Union Gospel Mission in Fort Worth to feed the homeless. Union Gospel Mission serves three meals a day to the homeless 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Good Shepherd will assist UGM by preparing 70 sack lunches to be provided to those homeless who are not able to enter the shelter or are working and unable to come to the shelter for a meal. At 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month, we are asking Good Shepherd parishioners to come to the kitchen in the parish hall and help fill 70 sack lunches with a sandwich, healthy snack and water. All items will be provided, we simply need your hands to help. We will kickoff this outreach project on Thurs, Dec 8 after Mass at 7:00 p.m. on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Please bring your family and help us provide a meal and hope to those in need. Please visit Union Gospel Mission’s website http://www.ugm-tc.org/ for more information about this very special organization.
