Bringing children to embrace Christ, explore the Gospel, and celebrate the Kingdom.

We are following  a dramatic interactive approach for all of our children’s sessions.  It’s critical that our children look forward to learning more about their faith.  We want every child to look forward to coming to faith formation sessions each week.  We believe that this style of program helps to accomplish this.

Note from Fr. Richard

Greetings to all of you.

After consultation with Marlon De La Torre, Diocesan Director of Catechesis, and in the presence of our Religious Education staff, I have made a decision that Tammy Sandoval has been promoted to Director of Faith Formation for our parish effective immediately.  Her duties will include but not be limited to  oversight responsibilities for all our  lifelong faith formation programs: K though High School coordinators and their admins, adult education, RCIA, and Sacramental Preparations.  Tammy will report directly to me.  Please welcome Tammy in her new role on staff.  We all look forward to her leadership, management, and organization to provide us with a solid direction in faith formation.  Thank you Tammy for accepting this new position.  You have our wholehearted support.  Blessings, Father Richard

Our Family Faith Formation  process for Good Shepherd Catholic Community is committed to family-centered faith development.  As a caring family we support and strengthen each other by empowering one another to share the knowledge and appreciation of our faith.  Our faith development grows with our life experiences, and through the application of our religious faith in our daily lives, as we serve God and one another.
