“Come to me, all who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Matt 11:28

PRAYER PARTNERS FOR LENT

As we, the parish community of Good Shepherd approach the season of Lent we become a reflective and prayerful people.  Lent is a time for self-examination and reconciliation in the light of God’s mercy and love. Often our prayers turn to relationships, healthy or broken,  and we pray about them in thanksgiving and sometimes for healing. As we support each other in a community of faith  we pray for each other’s intentions at every Mass.

This year we will have Prayer Partners for Lent at Good Shepherd. If you would like to participate in this seasonal activity please complete forms that will be available in the Narthex next week.

For every prayer form you put in the basket you withdraw one.  Each day you will remember your Prayer Partner and at the close of the season you may send them an Easter Card.
